Ed and Julie Smithey are exceptional dairymen and take pride in their young, fresh herd. After selling their cows 2 years ago, they have concentrated their efforts in the heifer pens and the quality certainly shows. Many are A.I. sired. Almost all are identified with certificates available sale day. Most of all, this recently fresh herd are ‘farm fresh’ and the kind of individuals who will quickly jump to the level of production of any herd they are taken to. Circle the date March 15th and make a note to attend.

• Cows are all recently fresh, the heifers from 3 to 8 months bred
• A few crossbreeds in each group • 21,000 RHA SCC less than 150,000
