Indiana Holstein and Jersey Shows Slated in June

Indiana Holstein and Jersey breeders will meet to compete at their annual state shows in the northern Indiana on June 17-19th. The Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen will host the annual state shows put on by the Indiana Holstein Association and the Indiana Jersey Association.  

On Tuesday, June 17th the Junior shows will take place with Julie Hemp of Illinois serving as the judge while the open shows will be held on Thursday, June 19th with Canada’s Marty Unholtzer sorting through the cattle. Both Junior and Open shows will begin at 9 am. The cattle can move in on Sunday, June 15th.

A hog roast and memorabilia auction will take place on Wednesday. Look for the auction items to be listed on Dairy Agenda Today after June 1st.

Out of state exhibitors are invited to show with a one-time $50 associate membership fee. Entries for Holsteins will be due May 15th.  Entry fees will be $10/head, $25/late fee up until noon on Wednesday, June 15th.
