The junior show judges gathered and deliberated over the best of the best for the Junior Dairy Show Supreme Champion Cow and Heifer of the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky.
It was a double whammy from the Jersey breed as both the Junior Champion and Grand Champion Jerseys were named Supreme. The Supreme Champion Cow was Hawk Pond Rosecrans Maddie exhibited by Nic, JEni, Ben and Andy Sauder, Tremont, IL.
Meadow Ridge Bart Saucy-ET exhibited by Alleah Anderson, Cumberland, WI, was named the Supreme Champion Heifer.
The late David Sparrow was honored during the supreme championship selection. David was the Dairy Superintendent of the North American International Livestock Exposition and passed away unexpectedly.
A collage of his time at the North American was given to the family. His wife, Linda, flanked by part of her family accepted the gift and reminisced about David's love of the show and appreciation of the exhibitors.
