A fire broke out in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 1st at the Green Meadow Farms in Elsie, Michigan. According to the Green Meadow Farms Facebook Page, the fire originated in the maternity building.

"We would like to thank all of the brave firemen and farm staff for helping with a devastating fire in our maternity barn early this morning. Thank you also for the dedicated employees coming together today and in the weeks to come to help clean up and rebuild. Without all of you, this terrible situation could have been a lot worse!"
