Richmond's "Centennial" Black and White Days in Full Swing
Richmond's "Centennial" Black and White Days is in Full Swing celebrating 100 years of the Richmond Black and White Show held in Richmond, Utah.  Now commonly known as the Western National Spring Holstein Show, it is the longest running dairy show in the nation that is not associated with a state fair. Scheduled to run May 12-16, May 12 is the Richmond B&W Show Jr. Show, May 13 is the 4-H, FFA and Collegiate Judging Contest starting in the morning with the Richmond Heritage Showcase Sale scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. May 14 is the National Holstein Judges Conference with the Western Spring National Heifer show that evening. May 15 has the Western Spring National Cow Show scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.

Longtime Utah Holstein Breeders Bill Wright (left), Harry Pappageorge (back) and Ned & Wilford Zaugg in front. Wilford is the same age as the Richmond Black and White Show, 100 years old!
