Flooding, closed roads and daily down pours of two inches or more of rain did not dampen the spirits of the exhibitors at the Mid-States Dairy Classic show June 6 in Beatrice, Nebraska. The small but quality all-breeds show, judged by Molly Sloan of Columbus, Wisconsin, was a great show to start the summer.
Flooding continues through much of southeastern Nebraska and northeastern Kansas. These are photos of the Big Blue river that runs through the town of Beatrice, Nebraska, it has flooded a near by park and several streets in town are closed because they are covered with water.
