Milk Futures, Cash Dairy Mixed

In Class III trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, milk futures were mostly, modestly lower. June was up $.05 at $14.89, August was down $.05 at $15.86, September was $.06 lower at $16.28, and October was down $.07 at $16.27.

Over in the spot market, cash cheese was higher. Blocks were up $.0075 at $1.52 with one trade at $1.525. The last offer uncovered was for one load at the closing price. Barrels were $.0075 higher at one fifty four and a quarter. The last bid unfilled was on one load at that price.

Butter was down $.005 at $2.34 with a total of three loads sold, including two at the closing price. The last offer uncovered was for one load at $2.3475.

Nonfat dry milk was $.0075 lower at $.8925. There were a total of nine loads sold, including one at the closing price.
