A dozen members of the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association will have the
opportunity to see some of the state's top dairy operations up close and
personal. They were chosen this week for the group's annual Trip Award, in
which the students will travel around the state for two days this spring
touring Holstein dairy farms.
This year's winners include Maddie Zutz, Manitowoc County; Danielle Warmka,
Dodge County; Geneva Nunes, Chippewa County; Allie Breunig, Dane County; Collin
Wille, Barron County; Jared VanderWeele, Sheboygan County; Jake Siemers,
Manitowoc County; Claire Olson, Door County; Alli Walker, Columbia County;
Mitchell Schroepfer, Langlade County; and Kenni Bores, Wood County.
Applicants were chosen for their development and management of their future in
the Holstein industry. The winners were recognized at WJHA's annual convention
this week in Wisconsin Dells.
The trip will take place April 8-9, 2017.
