Dairy Foundation Silent Auction Raises Record $31,000
The education foundation of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin has
raised over $31,000 during its annual silent auction, held in conjunction with
the PDPW annual conference in Madison this week.
Nearly 100 items sold for a record $31,275 at the event at the Alliant Energy
Center.
Auction items ranged from collectible art pieces to get-away trips. The
proceeds will be used to fund dairy education programs through the Professional
Dairy Producers Foundation.
The PDPF was established in 2002 as a way to raise funds and award grants for
educational programs.
