Dairy farmers can learn how to position their business for success and amplify
the value they bring to their communities by completing a five-part leadership
training series this winter. It's called 'Dairy's Visible Voice' and is being
facilitated by the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin.
The series, running simultaneously in two separate venues, kicks off at Pagels
Ponderosa Dairy in Kewaunee on November 1 and Boon Farms near Greenwood on
November 2. That program will focus on media training
Other sessions will be held December 13 on crisis management; January 3 on
effective leadership; February 16 on proactive communication; and April 4 on
social media strategy.
Registration for PDPW members is $625.00 and $800 for non-members. That
includes five on-farm training sessions, training materials, lunch,
refreshments and access to a like-minded, progressive dairy peer groups.
