The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will have one new face on its
board of directors. Members elected Janet Clark of Eldorado to a three-year
term during the group's annual business conference in Madison on Thursday.
Incumbent directors Jay Heeg, Colby; and Dan Scheider, Freeport, Illinois, were
also re-elected to the board.
Clark and her husband, Travis, have joined her family's dairy operation, Vision
Aire Farms, LLC. She manages the financials and calves for the 140-cow
Registered Holstein farm.
Heeg owns and operates Heeg Brothers Dairy LLC with his brothers Mark and Gary.
The farm milks about 1,000 Holstein cows and employs 21 full-time workers. Jay
also represents PDPW on the Wisconsin Beef Council Board.
And Scheider is a fifth-generation dairy farmer on both sides of his family.
Along with his parents, he milks 650 cows at Scheidairy Farms. Dan currently
serve as vice president on the Stephenson County Farm Bureau Board.
The PDPW board meets throughout the year to plan organization activities and
establish other ways to help achieve their mission of building a better dairy
industry.
