The Wisconsin Holstein Association is now taking applications for a new
executive director. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing
all aspects of the association including membership, employee relations and
operational needs at the group's headquarters in Baraboo.
Specifically, the incoming director will provide leadership in developing
program, organization and financial plans with the board of directors and
staff. They will also serve as the official spokesperson for the WHA to
publicize the activities of the organization, its programs and goals to the
membership and dairy industry.
The position requires excellent communication skills, organization and
time-management practices. A bachelor's degree in agriculture or business with
at least five years of management experience is required. Dairy industry
experience is preferred.
