Milk Futures, Cash Dairy Lower

Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange again continued lower Wednesday following the elections and lower cash trade.

November closed six cents lower at $14.46.  December down 17 cents at $14.66.  January 12 cents lower at $14.78.  February down a dime at $14.92.  March through next October contracts closed four to eight cents lower.

Barrels were down $0.03 at $1.3050.  Three trades were made ranging from $1.3150 to $1.32.

Blocks closed $0.0325 lower at $1.4250.  Five trades were made ranging from $1.4175 to $1.4375.

Butter was down $0.03 at $2.21.  Five trades were made ranging from $2.21 to $2.23.

Nonfat dry milk was $0.0150 lower at $0.87.  One trade was made at that price.

Dry whey closed unchanged at $0.4450.
