The cause of a major fire at Grassland Dairy Products in
rural Clark County is being investigated.
According to Greenwood Fire Chief Delmond Horn, seven fire
departments responded to the blaze on Tuesday evening. The fire was said to be
in one of the milk powder drying units.
Horn says nobody was hurt in the fire, but the amount of
damage done to the facility and its equipment is said to be substantial.
All of the employees who were working at the plant were
evacuated at the time of the fire call.
