Tornado Strikes Lin-Crest Farms*Photos Added*
Early Tuesday evening, May 28th, a large tornado struck Lin-Crest Farms. Linwood, Kansas, owned by Rob and Lisa Leach. The family is fine, but the tornado did extensive damage to the farm and animals. The estimated one mile wide, F4 tornado touched down near Lawrence, Kansas and stayed on the ground for several miles. All barns on the farm are a complete loss and the house has damage, but is repairable. Eight to ten animals were lost with a few others having injuries and milk cows and heifers have been sent to other dairies in the area. Early morning on May 29th friends and neighbors were at Lin-Crest to help with the cleanup.

Please keep the Leach family in your thoughts and prayers.
