Polled bulls are definitely becoming more popular all the time particularly in Europe..because it is a Consumer Friendly situation..they...don't like hurting the calves by having their horns removed...you know city folks. Same with BST, one day they said.. we won't pick up your milk anymore unless you stop that now! Re. Prod & Type depends on the bull, look at their Prod & Type info.

We are using more polled bulls. The particular problem with many polled bulls has been the type. That is changing now and we are seeing some superior type polled bulls like Luster and Mirand. I expect this trend will continue.

Yes, We are using several polled bulls. Redeye, Russ PP, Luster, Boby and Drastic. Production wasn't the issue with our polled heifers in the past. Udder cleft was to weak on most of them and led to early culling. Ours breed back really well so that's a plus...
