Milk Futures, Cash Dairy Mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange turned mostly lower Thursday with cash trade providing very little market direction.

August Class III milk up 26 cents to $19.81.  September nine cents lower at $16.91.  October 20 cents lower at $17.14.  November down 29 cents at $19.93.  December through February contracts 26 cents lower to unchanged.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.32. 

Blocks unchanged at $1.8150. 

Barrels unchanged at $1.6425.

Butter up $0.0175 at $1.5575.  Nine trades were made ranging from $1.54 to $1.57.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0175 at $0.9550.  Five trades were made ranging from $0.95 to $0. 9550.
