The Shawano-based GENEX Cooperative is offering a
scholarship program for individuals pursuing an undergraduate degree in an
agricultural field.
Each year, the company offers a minimum of four $1,000
scholarships for applicants who plan to attend a four-year college or
university or two-year technical college. In addition to pursuing a degree in
an agricultural field, students must be affiliated with a GENEX member by
having an active role on the member's dairy or ranch.
"We are committed to supporting the next generation of
farmers and ranchers," said GENEX Member Relations Vice President Terri
Dallas. "Through our collegiate scholarship program, our goal is to
provide financial support to college students to ensure they have every
opportunity to become tomorrow's agricultural leaders."
