Dr. James Salfer, University of Minnesota Extension Professor.
Zoey Nelson of Brooks Farm 1855 and Heather Johnson from
Alfalawn Farm will give a similar presentation on Wednesday's program, where
they'll talk about automatic calf feeders.
And on Thursday, Terry Allen of Consumer Physics will join
Dr. Luiz Ferraretto, a ruminant nutrition specialist with the
UW-Madison-Extension, will talk about the SCiO Cup used by consultants and producers
on the farm to measure dry matter in haylage, corn silages, small grain silages
and other feed ingredients within a few minutes.
All episodes are free and available to the public,
accessible from www.pdpw.org. They are streamed live at 12:00 noon or available
on demand for later playback.
