The NY Spring Dairy Carousel initiated a new herdsman award in memory of Dean Sharp who passed away unexpectedly.  Dean’s widow, Carrie Sharp and their son, Eddie Sharp, daughter Alicia Bumsted and grandson John Bumsted were all on hand at the Carousel in Hamburg, NY., to present the new award.

There were six show strings who were honored with the award.
