Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the
week with light, positive trade along with cash markets.
April Class III milk up three cents at $17.67. May up
12 cents at $19.12. June up four cents at $19.10. July five cents
lower at $19.05. August through October contracts a penny lower to two
cents higher.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.6750.
Blocks up $0.02 at $1.80. Seven sales were made from
$1.7925 to $1.80.
Barrels up $0.0525 at $1.7425. Five trades were made at
$1.69 and $1.7350.
Butter up $0.02 at $1.87. Eight sales were made from
$1.8450 to $1.87.
Nonfat dry milk up $0.02 at $1.2350. One trade was
made at that price.
