The DAT People's Choice Question of the Week:Keep Cows Cool?
Temperatures in many parts of the U.S. have seen heat indexes over 100 degrees. The Kansas Department of Health
and Environment have reported at least 2000 head of cattle have been lost in Kansas feed lots because of the
intense heat.

We use the tried and true, sprinklers and fans in the freestall barn. Our freestall barn will be 20 degrees cooler on days it is 100 degrees.
