Milking Shorthorn National Convention Sale Report

 The Milking Shorthorn National Convention Sale was the concluding event of the successful meeting in Champaign, Illinois.  The sale was held at the Champaign County Fairgrounds under sunny skies and in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Some highlights include:

Lot 42 5700 A Choice of two live heifers, a June Lightning daughter or a September Bentley daughter out of Trilow Zeus Lala ET, a 2-time Unanimous All-American and 2019 WDE Reserve Grand Champion. She was consigned by Tristan and Willow Upchurch and Susan Lee.

Lot 35 5000 -Consigned by Mike Gregory of Illinois, she is Mikes-Dar Transform Legit, a fresh Junior 2-Year-Old sired by Transformation out of Heavenly Badgers Lime E91, the Reserve All-American Senior 3-Year-Old in 2021, Unanimous All-American Winter Yearling in 2019 and All-American Winter Calf in 2018.

Lot 43 4950 – A first choice female Wildside x Henkeseen Royalty Reason EXP the Unanimaous All-American Jr. 2-Year-Old in 2021 and 1st Jr. 2 at WDE in 2021. The choice was consigned by Henkeseen Milking Shorthorns of Iowa.

Lot 15 3800 -A winter Wildside daughter out of Corstar Deuce Mix P EXP TW E94 and the Jr. three-Year-Old All-American in 2016 and part of the All-American Best Three females. She was consigned by Cory & Kristen Salzl of Minnesota.

Lot 34 3800 -From New England, the Clarks consigned a just fresh Summer Jr. 2 Patriot out of Heavenly Creampuff, HM All-American Jr. 3-Year-Old in 2018 and Jr. All-American in 2018.
