Showmanship is where the playing field is leveled and the youth turn up the heat of competition. At the Ohio State Fair the Dairy Youth Incentive program encourages youth to compete in showmanship, dairy judging, a skillathon and their breed show. If a youth competes in all four categories, they are rewarded with more knowledge and confidence and a monetary reward of $100.
The showmanship contest was held on Friday, July 26th with Stephanie Aves-Schroder of Wisconsin officiating.
