Illinois State Fair Jersey Show

The Illinois State Fair Jersey show, held on Aug 19 was no doubt the best Jersey show ever held in the State. Author, Sale Manager and Judge, Norm Nabholz carefully placed 211 head of the Midwest's finest Jerseys.

Dairy Agenda Today How unfortunate for Don DeMentthat the first time in over 60 years, he was unable to attend the IL State fair, but how lucky that he was able to enjoy it at home via live coverage. You certainly made his day. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much Larry and DAT! This is great reportage! I realize that there can be great frustrations with live streaming as the technology evolves (like when you really want to know how the RVFs five and six year olds lined up and the voice over stops just then!! :-) ) but it is wonderful that DAT has provided such amazing coverage! Yes, looks like a super show well judged by the dean of Jersey pedigree readers and nice to see so many different names in the list of top finishers! And some national and continental calibre cows in those classes for sure! Can't wait to spend quality time with these great brown cows and these wondrous Jersey owners and others a week from now in the productive realms of the Land of Lincoln! Kudos to all involved, DAT, Jersey folks and State Fair staff and the distinguished ringmaster and judge and author Mr. N N! We stand ( or sit at the keyboard and monitor) in awe!
