When I started milking in the 1980's there were numerous 'local farm kids' I hired to milk on weekends and during trips my wife and I took. Then we had kids and they helped, they are gone living thier lives and there are no more 'local farm kids'. My wife and I are the labor for the next year or so, then we retire.
