Illinois State Fair Holstein Show
Over 250 head of Illinois finest Holsteins were paraded before judge Eddie Bue on Friday  August 20th at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, IL.

Both the Jr and Reserve Jr Champions were exhibited by the George Kasbergen Family of Stone Ridge Dairy. On the left is the 1st Placed Winter Yearling and Jr Champion, Mibelson Laramie Comernic. On the right is the 1st place Fall calf and Reserve Jr Champion, Beldavid Lou Whoopi

On the left is the 1st placed Jr 2, Intermediate and Reserve Grand Champion,Team Durham Morgan, bred and shown by Team Holsteins. Morgan will be the feature of the Team/Lindale Holsteins group in the upcoming Top 10 Sale in Waterloo, Iowa. On the right is ST-Yle-Sa Its Joytime-Red, 1st place Sr 2, Reserve and HM Grand Champion.
 
The Grand Champion was the 1st Place 4 yr old. Ms WM Gibson Rosalyn, shown by Zehrview, Watts, and Kavanagh.
 
The Reserve Sr Champion was the 1st place 125,000 cow, Hedge Row Blitz Dana, shown by Holbric Holsteins
 
 Winning both the Premier Breeder and Exhibitor banners was the Olbrich Family of Harvard, IL
 
 Lynn Zehr, Eddie Bue, Gary Zehr, and George Halpin rehash the show.
The Team/Lindale Holstein exhibit is ready for the trip to the Waterloo Show and the Top 10 Sale.
 
If the old brick barns in Illinois could talk.
 
The Illini Dairy Club is sponsoring the Milk a cow Booth for the 28th year. Over those 28 years approximately 160,000 kids and adults have learned where milk really comes from.

Mercy! Illinois must be an ever-improving hotbed of superb dairy cattle as the ISF Jersey show totally rocked this year too! Go Land of Lincoln!

Great show, great job of judging. Love the champions. Intermediate is gonna be a great one some day. Looks like one that will get better and better. Just the way they shoulda been. CONGRATULATIONS to exhibitors & judge. He needs to judge more shows.
