Cyrus Conard, of Sharon Springs, N.Y., had the Grand Champion Red and White Holstein, Ridgedale-T Raichu-Red, of the Premier National Junior Show, held Monday, Sept. 20 at the 2010 All-American Dairy Show.
‘Raichu’ first won the Five-Year-Old class and Senior Champion before topping 99 entries in the breed to take the top honor. Owner Cyrus Conard, the 15-year-old son of Wayne and Jen Conard, also took the Grand Champion honors with ‘Raichu’ at the New York State Junior Show.
Junior Champion was the first-placed Fall Calf, Rob-Sara Rustler Tina B-Red, owned by Laura & Robbie Emerson of Middletown, Pa. Reserve Junior Champion went to the first-placed Winter Calf, Barnview Moonlight Flair-Red, owned by Amber Gabel of Newport, Pa.

The Ayrshire Junior Show Results:
Maple Dell Dilligent Dalilah, owned by Alexis Winkler of Woodbine, Md., was named Grand Champion Ayrshire of the Premier National Junior Show, held Monday, Sept. 20, at the 2010 All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg.
Alexis, 12, is the daughter of Jeff and Rhonda Winkler, and had the first-placed Junior Two-Year-Old and Intermediate Champion before topping the show’s 83 entries for Grand Champion.
Reserve Grand Champion, Mowry’s Wildon Trista, was owned by Jared Douglas Helsley, of Roaring Springs, Pa. ‘Trista’ was also the first-placed Senior Three-Year-Old, Reserve Intermediate Champion and Senior Best Bred & Owned.
Senior Champion went to the winning Four-Year-Old, Emerald Farms Checkers Janie, owned by Kara L Yannesse of Slippery Rock, Pa., and the Reserve Senior Champion went to Five-Year-Old Maulfair Acres Tristar Creampuff, owned by David Maulfair of Jonestown, Pa.

The Brown Swiss Junior Show Results:
\ Jeffrey Hubbard of Thurmont, Md., received top Brown Swiss honors at the 2010 All-American Dairy Show on Sept. 20, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and Expo Center in Harrisburg.
Eighteen-year-old Hubbard’s Dublin-Hills Shiryln won the Senior 3-Year-Old class and was named Intermediate Champion before winning Grand Champion honors.
When Judge Eric Topp of Botkins, Ohio, was choosing his Grand Champion, he said, “This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made.”
Hubbard received a hand-painted wooden chest and a $1,000 Savings Bond sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health of Scottsdale, Pa.
Megan Kulp, Manheim, Lancaster County, exhibited the Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion, Kulp-Gen Legacy Tiara-ET, winner of the 4-Year-Old class.
Reserve Intermediate Champion, Cutting Edge L Jellybean, was exhibited by Chelsea Young of Tinmouth, Vt. Reserve Senior Champion went to Donald Bassler, Upperville, Va., with Old Mill JP Cresent.
Junior Champion honors were awarded to Hannah Carey, St. Thomas, Franklin County, with the Fall Heifer Class winner, PA-Lyn-Leigh P Treats-ET. Kyle Barton, Copake Falls, N.Y., was named Reserve Junior Champion with the Winter Yearling Towpath Agenda Dancer.

The Milking Shorthorn Junior Show Results
Ryan Rida of Worthington, Mass., led his 3-Year-Old Milking Shorthorn to win multiple honors at the 2010 All-American Dairy Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg.
Rida’s Morning Dew Royal Sara won Grand Champion and Intermediate Champion in a show with 56 animals, and also earned the Best Female Bred & Owned award.
Judge Jacob Hushon of Fort Atkinson, Wis., identified Sara’s “phenomenal mammary system” as a one reason she excelled in the show.
Carlyn Crowl of Delta, York County, won Reserve Grand Champion and Senior Champion with 4-Year-Old Joy-El Logic Tippy. Additionally, Crowl’s Sr. 3-Year-Old, Joy-El Logic Las Vegas, won Reserve Intermediate Champion.
Cara Trotter, from Enon Valley, Lawrence County, led 4-Year-Old Tobin Farm Blossom to win Reserve Senior Champion.
Junior Champion was won by Hannah Roades of Greenville, Ohio, with her Fall Calf, Buckeye Knoll Liriano Pila Exp. Judge Hushon called this winning calf “an easy choice that you just can’t miss.”
Kara Yannesse of Slippery Rock, Butler County, won Reserve Junior Champion with Designer Genes Tori. Hushon said that it was an “excellent Winter Calf out of the same mold.”

The Jersey Junior Show Results:
Kennedy Crothers of Pitcher, N.Y., topped 128 head in the Premier National Junior Jersey show on Monday Sept. 20, at the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg, Pa.
Crothers, the daughter of Anthony and Debbie Crothers, received Senior Champion and Grand Champion with Underground Gaylenes Gem, who first won the 4-Year-Old Cow class. She also received Junior Champion honors with her Winter Calf, Underground Gems Garnett.
Judge Dr. Doug Evans of Georgetown, N.Y., spoke of the tremendous quality in the Jersey show. In the Grand Champion drive he stated “the quality started in the morning and culminates with the current excellent participants.”
Judge Evans specifically placed animals based on structural correctness, breed character and style. Crothers’ Grand Champion had all of those, plus angularity and a lot of balance.
George Colpetzer, Greenville, Mercer County, exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Jersey, Georges Counciller Wizbang, who was first named Reserve Senior Champion and second place 4-Year-Old.
Intermediate Champion Jersey honors were awarded to Calla Mazzaro, Williamsfield, Ohio, with her Senior 3-Year-Old Marhaven Justice Sugar-ET. Madison Fisher, Claysburg, Bedford County was named Reserve Intermediate Champion, Big Guns Jamaica Vanilla from the 3-Year-Old Junior class.
TY-LY-View Sebastian Focus, exhibited by Courtney Cook of Hartley Del., was named first place Fall Calf and went on to win Reserve Junior Champion.

Hunter Duval of Greenwich, N.Y., earned top Guernsey spot from among 140 animals in the Premier National Junior Show at the 2010 All-American Dairy Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg.
Duval’s winning Four-Year-Old, Monument-View Loco Regan, was named Senior and Grand Champion of the show.
Judge Jacob Hushon of Fort Atkinson, Wis., identified the cow he selected for Grand Champion “was in a league of her own.”
Kelly Johnson of York, Pa., took Reserve Grand Champion and Best Female Bred & Owned with her Intermediate Champion, Rutter Bros Showtimes Candy- TW, along with Reserve Junior Champion with Rutter Bros Chases Rumor.
