58th Annual All American Jersey Sale Enjoys Great Success
Tables donned with linens with wine and cheese as the centerpieces the All American Jersey Sale was set to begin at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, KY.

A huge crowd filled West Hall with standing room only for the 58th annual marquis Jersey sale.
Jersey Marketing Service managed the sale with Lynn Lee(right) as the auctioneer and Dan Bauer(left) reading pedigrees.

On 58 live female lots the average was $5250. Three embryo packages averaged of $2,383 while three choices averaged $7,666 and three bull sold for an average of $44,250.

The highest selling live animal was Lot 36, Hi-Kel Tbone Pfennig-ET purchased by River Valley Farm, Tremont, IL., for $21,500. She was consigned by Hi-Kel Syndicate, Byron, NY. The second high seller was a consignment from Bruce Roos, Kara Hale and Sunset Canyon Jerseys, Beaver, OR., Sunset Canyon Headline Daffy 3-ET. She was also purchased by River Valley Farm for $19,500.

Rounding out the top three sellers was lot 4, Tollenaar Headline 6652C024-ET. D&D Jerseys and Lloyd Heinz of Newton, WI purchased her for $17,000. She was consigned by Tollenaar Jerseys, Elk Grove, CA.
The top selling bull was Sunset Canyon Dominican-ET purchased by Genex/ CRI & Dominican Syndicate for $96,000. He was consigned by Sunset Canyon Jerseys of Beaver, OR.
The second high selling bull was Tollenaars Lotto Lottery 1046C96-ET consigned by Tollenaar Jerseys and was purchased by Select Sires & Lottery Syndicate for $23,250. The third bull, BW Honors-ET, was purchased by Select Sires and Honors Syndicate for $13,500. He was consigned by Brentwood Farms, Orland, CA.

The sale also included three bull syndicates. Sunset Canyon Dominican became the highest selling individual in All american history at $96,000. I'm not sure why everyone is keeping this quiet, I'm proud to be a part-owner of this exciting young bull. Congratulations to our friends at Sunset Canyon on this accomplishment!
