Supreme Champions Tapped at NAILE
The supreme champion heifer and cow selection of the Junior shows at the North American International Livestock Exhibition was held just before the famed Jersey Jug in Louisville, KY.
The judges who evaluated the shows were charged with selecting the best of the best. These judges were (L to R) Dean Dohle (Brown Swiss and Jersey Associate) Mike Rider (Ayrshire) Ted DeMent (Jersey) Chip Savage (Holsteins and Red and Whites) Herby Lutz (Guernsey) Mark Erdman (Milking Shorthorn).
The winner of the Supreme Champion heifer was the red and white, Vande Debonair Yahtzee-RED, first fall yearling, Shawon Vande Zande, Waupau, WI.
The winner of the Supreme Champion Cow was the Jersey, Claessic Fields Vindicat Genie, first four year old, exhibited by Ben Sauder, Tremont, IL.
