Ohio Multi Breed Sale In Wooster!
On this sunny, fall, Saturday morning the Ohio Multi-Breed sale has begunin Wooster, Ohio at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
 
 
The Sale will begin at 10 am with the Ayrshire offering followed by the Brown Swiss, Milking Shorthorns and then the Holstein offering will round out the day. To check out all the details see the online catalog.  If you're interested in any of the consignments, contact one of the sales staff.

The Ayrshire collection is full of great milk cows, nice growthy heifers and some exciting jackpot calves.
The average on 19 head of Ayrshires was $1442.  The Brown Swiss sale had 6 head and averaged $1758 while the Milking Shorthorn sale averaged $1258 on 6 head.
 
 
The Jackpot heifers. Four Winter calves and one Spring calf. These are brought into the sale ring together as choices. The calves go into a junior's name and then when they calve in as 2 year olds the junior owner turns in her production records to the Ohio Ayrshire Association and the cows are ranked on their production and the top three receive a portion of the jackpot money.
