Ocean-View to Disperse

The end of an era will be marked on May 2nd 2012 as the complete herd of over 600 head of Registered Holsteins at Ocean-View Farms owned by Marvin Nunes, Windsor, California will be dispersed by public auction. After numerous rumors and speculations the past few months, the auction was announced Monday by Dallas Burton, Burton & Associates. Presently in California at the Ocean View Farm with Dave Rama of the Cattle Exchange, the team is working with Marvin Nunes to finalize the plans for the event. Also assisting with the plans at Ocean View this week are Les Terpstra and Larry Kleiner.

Marvin Nunes and the Ocean View prefix have long been recognized as one of the top Holstein breeding herds worldwide. Across the canvas of the entire industry, Ocean View has combined to

· Produce top A.I. sires such as Ocean View Sexation

· Helped continue the line of Excellent maternal dams all to produce over 40,000 lbs

· 11 cows to exceed 300,000 lbs milk lifetime

· Numerous All-California and All-American contenders
