Buttke Dairy Enterprises Dispersal
Buttke Dairy Enterprises had their complete milking herd dispersal on Wednesday, April 17th in North Carolina.
There were 131 head of sold in the first 90 minutes of the sale with an average of $2300. A very active crowd appreciating the solid milk cows backed by Arlin Buttke’s great reputation supported the sale with active bidding. The 500+ milk cows were mixed into one group this morning and the cows sell gate cut as they parade through the ring.

The final average on 484 lots was $2,176 with over a million gross.

Topping the sale at $5,000 was Ocean-View Atwood June-ET, an Atwood daughter that was fresh in November and due this November to Shottle. Her last test was 101 pounds.

Here are some scenes from the sale in the North Carolina sunshine.
