Holstein and Jersey Futurities Highlight the Night at Michigan Dairy Expo
The 28th Annual Great Lakes Holstein Futurity was held July 18th at the MSU Pavilion in East Lansing, Michigan during the Michigan Dairy Expo. On one side of the ring, Ron Heffner of Maryland judged the Holsteins while on the other side of the ring, brown cows were on parade as the Jersey Futurity was being evaluated by Jeff Sayles of Ontario.

Before the show the Michigan Jersey Association crowned their 2013 Michigan Jersey Queen, Jennifer Crabtree of Addison. Sandy Thompson was there as the Junior advisor to make the presentation of the crown and sash.
The Michigan Master Jersey Breeder was recognized at the Michigan Jersey Futurity. Patrick Wittenback (right)of Ionia, Michigan received the award presented by Greg Palen.
